Our journey will take us to many wet or dusty situations. For maximum
protection look for waterproof, not water resistant binoculars;
Binoculars that are truly waterproof are normally filled with nitrogen
gas and are totally sealed. Filling and sealing the binocular with nitrogen
gas assures the optic will not fog internally and makes it all weatherproof.
TIP: Only nitrogen filled binoculars offer internal fogging
protection

Accept no less than a "limited lifetime" warranty. It is called
a limited warranty because if you abuse your precision optical instrument,
only you can be held accountable. Every binocular is built to withstand
a certain amount of punishment. If you take proper care of your finely
tuned binocular the factory should stand behind them for a lifetime.

Before you start your final leg of the journey, make sure you are outfitted
correctly. Answering the following questions will help select the binocular
that is right for you.
1.
What is the intended use for my new binoculars?
2. How important is weight?
3. Will a compact binocular satisfy my needs?
4. Do I require long eye relief?
5. Do I need a waterproof model that is water, dust, dirt
and fog proof?
6. How much money do I want to invest in a superior quality
pair of binoculars?
7. How much magnification do I really need?
8. How important is it to view objects in low or dim light?

Well, you made it through the jungle and are ready to go out and
claim your prize ... the best pair of binos your hard earned money can
buy! Buy quality. You deserve it.
