At present, we aren't able to sell Leupold products.
For those who care why, a brief explanation follows.

Leupold's "Unilateral Minimum Resale Price and Promotion Policy" is why you see so much uniformity in pricing of Leupold products on many different websites. Basically, it means Leupold will refuse to allow a dealer to buy Leupold products if they learn that dealer has "advertised, promoted, offered or sold" Leupold products below the prices Leupold sets. In early 2009 we ran afoul of that policy when our posted prices became outdated, during a long period when we were unable to keep our optics pages up to date because we were swamped with some of the other items we sell. During that period Leupold raised their prices substantially, which put our previously compliant (and clearly marked as outdated) prices below their limits, so they put us on their naughty-dealers list. Any wholesale distributor who sells Leupold products to a dealer on that list risks losing the privilege of selling Leupold products.

At this writing (September 2009) it's been about 6 months since we removed the offending prices, and we're still waiting to hear from Leupold that they've taken us off their list. A cynical person might get the (mistaken, I'm sure) idea that they're a lot more interested in putting dealers on that list than in taking them off it. When I have a little more time, maybe I'll have to see if I can find out what more they want from us. In the meantime, maybe if I get a chance I'll post the prices at which we'd sell Leupold products if we were left to our own devices and didn't have to think about consumer-unfriendly policies like MAP pricing, so you can see how much extra you're paying for the privilege of buying Leupold. If you're curious about that for a particular item, feel free to contact me and I'll look it up for you. On some of their higher priced optics, the difference is well over $100.

It doesn't take a math genius to figure out that Leupold's pricing policy means you're going to get a better value for your money by buying products made by almost anyone but Leupold. We're particularly fond of Burris, for a number of reasons, and encourage you to take a good look at their offerings.
